Golf carts roll through your neighborhood even though you don’t live in a country club. Perhaps you live in the Ocala Historic District or in Woodfields?
Your roof is not that old, but you had to get it replaced or your insurance company would drop you.
Your address says Ocala, but you live on five acres in the county.
You live in the Horse Capital of the World, but you rarely see horses.
In fact, you likely have never ridden a horse.
Just when you think you’ve swept all the pollen off your porch, it’s there again.
You talk about going to the springs so often, it’s like they’re in your backyard. That’s because they are. Hello Juniper, Silver Glen, Alexander, Salt and Rainbow!
You don’t wash your car at home because there are 100 or so carwashes nearby.
You pack snacks and a drink whenever heading to I-75 because you know traffic is likely to be stalled. Next time maybe bring a book or the latest issue The Marion Mosaic.
