Where in the World is Tito: Madrid Spain
Take a monthly journey as we follow along with Tito Comas’ frequent travels
El Prado Museum Sorolla Museum Plaza Mayor (large historic public Square known as the heart of Madrid)… Madrid is a city bursting with energy history, art and… ‘Sobrino de Biotin’ a Spanish restaurant listed in the Guinness book of records is the oldest in the world, Sobrino de Botin was founded in 1725 and has been operating without interruption ever since.
Located in the heart of the city, it offers an experience like no other. Reservations are required and you should plan at least 2 to 3 hours for the gastronomical experience. I suggest the house red or white wine and talk to your server about recommendations on appetizers, veggies, and specialties.
I was fortunate to share this experience with 10 friends from Ocala bridging the familiar with the exotic. We relished a feast of amazing Spanish cuisine. One of their specialties is the roasted whole piggy and the roasted lamb. “Sabroso! Para chuparse los dedos!” (Delicious finger, licking good). I will write this meal in my top three of my lifetime! Buen provecho!
