At that time my parents decided to retire in Ocala, Florida. Six months after they moved to Ocala we decided to come and visit (1978) and we moved to Ocala in 1979. I started Grafito Advertising as a design Studio and Advertising Agency, my father and mother joined me in the business until they retired from the business in 1991.

My mother ran the office and kept the books and accounting. We grew to a 14 member team with accounts nationwide. As a member of the American Advertising Federation we were awarded over 100 advertising awards, local, regional and national including Best in Show for advertising campaigns for The DeBartolo Corporation owner of over 50 malls nationwide including Paddock Mall and 17 other malls in Florida.
My son and his wife joined the company and we were partners for 24 years. On the local level we started and published Today in Ocala magazine which became Ocala Magazine later. We also were the agency of record for Emergency One, Seminole Feed, Paddock Mall, Oaks Mall, Squitieri Ltd., Galleria Orlando, Ellison Realty, Stewart Enterprises and many other local and regional and national companies.
