Ecliff Farrar
From local restaurants and the Downtown Square to the crowds at Levitt AMP, Ecliff Farrar’s presence is woven into Ocala’s soundtrack. His voice—smooth, spiced-buttery, and unpretentiously soulful—lends each performance a warmth that stays with you.
Ecliff Farrar’s love affair with music began at five years old, singing along to church songs with a sense of wonder that never really left him. That early spark pulled him into choirs, a cappella groups, recording studios, and stages where he learned to shape his voice around R&B, soul, and hip hop. Those years gave him range, confidence, and a deep understanding of how music can move people. Not just through sound, but through sincerity.
But at 35, something shifted. Farrar felt a pull toward something more grounded, more raw. So he picked up a guitar and what began as a small curiosity quickly opened the door to blues and country, genres that hit him with a sense of truth he couldn’t ignore. Their grit, their honesty, their storytelling, it all felt like rediscovering a part of himself he didn’t know he’d been missing.
Today, Farrar stands at the crossroads of those influences. As a singer-songwriter and acoustic gigging musician, his sound carries the warmth of his roots and the weight of the roads he’s traveled. It’s a blend of soulful vocals, bluesy edges, and country storytelling, all grounded in an authenticity shaped by decades of musical exploration.
For Ecliff, you can’t listen to his voice and musicianship without knowing the truth. It’s honest, raw, and a hell of a fun time.
